Machine gun strobe with high heat-resistant quartz tube

A highly heat-resistant quartz tube is used in the light-emitting part. The strobe is designed to withstand continuous firing under full power, allowing you to concentrate on shooting without missing the shutter release timing.

Magnetic connection allows multiple strobes to be combined into a single strobe.

Lightweight, compact, slim and low-profile body. Multiple MG-X strobes connected by magnets can be operated as if they were a single strobe.

This allows for flexible configurations, such as using multiple units* as one powerful light source for outdoor daytime synchronization, or using multiple strobes indoors by dividing them into individual light sources.

*The maximum output of MG-X is 82.7Ws; 165.4Ws when two units are connected, and 248.1Ws when three units are connected.

Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged in as little as approximately 1.5 seconds*.

MG-X Li-ION rechargeable battery insertion chartDesigned for maximum performance when using commercially available 14500-type lithium-ion batteries with protection circuits (handled by our company), the MG-X Li-ION battery insert achieves the fastest recharge time of approximately 1.5 seconds* and 360 times the number of shots when fully flashing. Other batteries that can be used are AA NiMH batteries and AA alkaline batteries. (Batteries sold separately. (Batteries sold separately, except for rechargeable battery sets)

Modeling Light

White LED modeling lights located on both sides of the light emitting part can be turned on and off by remote control from the commander (Commander function of Air10s/MG80Pro).

Built-in NAS* receiver

NAS ロゴマーク

TTL light control is possible via radio wireless communication using a NAS logo-marked NAS Commander (Air10s, etc.). It is also possible to use a remote strobe like a standard monoblock strobe, which detects and synchronizes with the master strobe (sync terminal not provided). (Synchro terminal is not equipped.) * NAS (Nissin Air System)

* NAS (Nissin Air System) is our proprietary standard. It is not compatible with other companies' radio wave wireless systems such as genuine products of camera manufacturers.

Compatible with camera makers' optical TTL wireless systems

The strobe can be controlled by Canon and Nikon strobes equipped with optical TTL wireless master function.

MG-X マルチ発光設定画面
Until now, no NAS compatible strobe had multi-flash function, but now for the first time, the multi-flash function can be controlled by the NAS Commander. (The NAS Commander can only set the light intensity. The light interval and number of flashes are set by the device.)
