High-performance NAS Commander

The NAS strobe remote control commander allows remote control of various settings such as light intensity adjustment and beam angle in TTL auto/manual mode.

The display panel is equipped with a color LCD that is easy to read even during daytime outdoors and in dark places. The dial-type control panel has independently arranged group selection buttons for intuitive operation.

Once the pairing settings have been made for the first time, strobes with different mount types can fire in TTL Auto and Manual modes. *1

The strobe has acquired the technical certification mark, so it can be used safely in Japan.

The simple and popular one-push lock mechanism is adopted. The compact and lightweight design makes it easy to install on a camera.

*1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is Nissin's own standard. It cannot be directly paired with camera manufacturer's genuine strobes or other products that use a different wireless standard, so the AirR (sold separately) is required for pairing. (AirR is only available for Canon and Sony.)

Maximum communication distance of 100m to expand photographic possibilities

The maximum communication distance of 100m is achieved while incorporating functions such as TTL, manual flash, and high-speed synchronization (FP flash).
A wide range of settings and stable operation are possible in a variety of shooting environments. This enables creative and stress-free photography.

The maximum communication distance is based on actual measurements and does not guarantee the actual communication distance.

1/3EV step, minimum 1/256 output, for more sensitive light control

Both TTL mode and manual flash mode support 1/3EV steps. In manual flash mode, a minimum flash output of 1/256 can also be set. More detailed control of light intensity broadens the range of photographic expression.

Of course, NAS-compatible models can also control conventional models that do not support light control in 1/3 EV steps.

1/3EV step and 1/256 output require a compatible strobe and firmware. For non-compatible models, the step width (TTL mode: 1/2EV, Manual mode: 1EV step) and light adjustment range (Manual mode: 1/128 to 1/1 light intensity) are the same as those of Air1.

Equipped with microSD card slot for firmware updates

air10s_microsd

A microSD card slot is provided for firmware updates. Users can download the firmware file from our website via the Internet and update the firmware themselves.

To update the firmware, simply insert the card containing the firmware file into the main unit and turn on the power.
Note that the microSD card supports capacities up to 32 GB (microSDHC card).

TTL Memory Function" to copy the light output in TTL mode to manual mode

The "TTL memory function" copies the light output in TTL mode to the output in manual mode.
After a rough light intensity is first determined in TTL mode, it can be switched to manual mode and fine-tuned to quickly determine the optimum light intensity.

Up to 8 groups can be managed, supporting a mixture of TTL and manual

The Di700A, i60A, and AirR can control up to three groups (A, B, and C), but the MG8, MG10, MG60, MG80 Pro, and products to be released in the future will have a fourth D The MG8, MG10, MG60, MG80 Pro, and future products will be equipped with a fourth group, the D group, as well as A● to D● advanced groups.

The advanced group supports a mixture of TTL and manual flash modes (mixed mode) and "open mode" to control a single strobe from multiple Air10s without pairing to meet various professional requirements.

High-speed sync and rear curtain sync functions

High-speed sync (FP flash) and rear curtain sync can be set from the dial on the Air10s or from the camera's menu item. The rear curtain sync function allows you to express the movement of the subject as a trail of light, allowing you to take pictures with a fluid, moving image.

*Back curtain sync shooting is not available with Canon cameras due to the specifications of the camera itself. With Sony cameras, rear curtain sync cannot be used with models that have a "Wireless (WL)" option in the "Flash Mode" item on the camera's menu screen because "Rear Curtain Synchro" and "Wireless (WL)" cannot be selected at the same time.

Supports modeling light function

Air10s is equipped with a new "Modeling Light" on/off button.
With NAS compatible strobes with built-in modeling light, lighting can be set more easily and reliably.

*This function is available only for NAS compatible strobes with built-in modeling light.

Dedicated pouch is included.

A dedicated semi-hard pouch is included. The pouch protects the device from shocks, etc.

The specifications of the pouch may differ from those shown in the photo.
